First Choice Pregnancy Solutions is Run By Who?????

Everyone has heard of the non-profit summer slump, right?  Well, First Choice is not immune to the summer slump and we could really use some significant donations to ensure a healthy cash flow.

Our volunteers are simply unpaid staff and are necessary to provide quality services to our clients. It takes around 40 weekly volunteers and staff to run the daily operations at First Choice. 

Please consider joining our volunteer team and be apart of seeing see the unborn live, true choice empowered, women and men thrive, the gospel shared, obstacles overcome and healing received from our heavenly Father for lives lost. 

Here are some upcoming volunteer needs: 

Administrative Volunteers to commit to weekly shifts who can help with front desk reception, checking in clients, welcoming clients, and managing and directs the volunteers who come in. 

Phone Receptionist to receive calls from clients and men and women desiring help.  This is a very important part of the ministry, because it is often our first point of contact with someone who is potentially abortion minded.  This is ideal for a student or someone who would like a quite place to do homework or read in between calls.  We do offer training on how to handle crisis calls.

Next Steps Client Advocates to commit to weekly shifts to meet with our clients one one one.  Through the Next Steps program the clients learn about their pregnancy, life skills as a new parent and have the opportunity to earn material needs such as diapers, a crib and car seat.  Through serving in this volunteer position you will have the ability to connect with the clients on a deep level, encourage them, pray for them and invest in their journey. 

Custodial Volunteer to help keep First Choice center neat and clean throughout the week so it is a pleasant, comfortable and welcoming environment for our clients and those seeking our services. 

Next Steps Workshop Host We also need volunteers to help Facilitate Learning Workshops for our Next Steps Program.  If you have experience or expertise in a topic--such as couponing, resume building, job networking, parenting, etc., we would love for you to share your knowledge with our clients through a workshop setting.

We will be hosting new volunteer training Monday, August 27th 6-9pm, Tuesday, August 28th 6-9pm and Tuesday, September 4th 6-9pm.  It is necessary to complete the volunteer training to begin helping on a regular basis in the ministry.
