"Cassandra and Elliot" came
to First Choice at the end of June and were struggling over what to do with
their unplanned pregnancy. Cassandra and Elliot are married and have a toddler,
but are in a very difficult situation financially and are experiencing
complicated issues with their extended family. Our staff met with them multiple times and spoke
with them over the phone and at the end of it all they were determined to abort
their baby. We offered assistance in multiple ways to help alleviate the main
obstacles they were experiencing but nothing seemed to sway their decision.
A
month went by and we could not get in touch with Cassandra or Elliot. Last week
Cassandra called us and shared that they have decided to have their baby!
Some
of their familial circumstances have changed, but they are still struggling financially
and are both looking for a job. Praise God for their baby’s life and please pray
for them to receive the steady income they need for their family. Also, please pray for them to come to
understand the love of Christ!
