On behalf of our Board of
Directors and Staff, we are excited to announce that First Choice Pregnancy Solutions has
become a Fleet Affiliate of ICU Mobile (pronounced “I SEE you”), the pioneer
and leader of mobile pregnancy center ministry, and will be joining their fleet
of mobile pregnancy centers.
ICU
Mobile helps pregnancy medical clinics like First Choice GO Mobile to
take pregnancy testing, ultrasound, and nursing support to women at high-risk
to abortion to equip them to choose LIFE in
their neighborhoods. This mobile medical model has proven successful all
over the country and more than 80% of abortion-risk women served are
choosing LIFE after
receiving services on one of their mobile ultrasound vehicles.
We join with ICU Mobile to GO TO, rather than wait for, women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy—on average, it is ONLY 9 days from the day a woman finds out she is pregnant to when she obtains her abortion. To reach women in that short window of time (hopefully, early in their decision making process), we will park near shopping plazas, and abortion providers – wherever abortion is prevalent and where women likely to experience an unplanned pregnancy live, work, and spend their time.
In fact, we have resident abortion numbers from every Wake County zip code and we have built our strategy around the areas of highest need. Top priority is serving the highest producing zip code, 27610, which is responsible for 400 resident abortions per year.
