The sad reality is that in December many women run to the arms of a man seeking a cure to their holiday loneliness, hoping to feel loved and wanted. The holiday party season provides the perfect storm for bad decisions that lead to the bedroom.
After the season of “holiday cheer” they show up in our clinic regretting their decisions and facing the impossible decision—to abort or not to abort?!?!?!
Unfortunately, January and February are also our tightest cash flow months of the year. There will be many client needs to be met and First Choice is counting on your extra generous gifts to ensure the ability to provide robust services and benevolence support for people considering abortion because of financial obstacles...people like “Jane” and ”Taylor”.
Meet Jane and Taylor...
Jane came to First Choice Pregnancy Solutions a few weeks ago and truly desired to have her baby but her boyfriend, Taylor, was pressuring her and believed abortion was the only option. Taylor was working 2 jobs and didn’t see how he could provide financially for a child or have any time to take care of a new baby. Jane repeatedly expressed that she really wanted to have the baby but that she would abort because that is what Taylor wanted.
She also did not want her child to grow up without a dad so she thought an abortion was a better option. They continued to come to First Choice to talk through their decision and to get a second ultrasound. After their last appointment Taylor shared that he believed that an abortion is still the best solution for them...BUT, Jane made the decision to have the baby with or without his support.
The “Janes” of our community are in need of your financial support to choose LIFE! Beyond their LIFE decisions they also need you and your community to come alongside them to help them stabilize and grow as a parent. There is a lot of work to be done in the cause of LIFE!
