The
morning Cadance discovered she was pregnant she immediately began to “shop around”
for an abortion. While she was
gathering information on abortion options she called First Choice Pregnancy
Solutions. We were able to set up an
appointment for her to come in the same day she called us. Cadance shared that she is
in her early 30’s and has three children. Currently, her main focus has
been on working toward a better future for her family. With plans for school in the fall Cadance was
very concerned on the timing for her pregnancy. Cadance also explained that she does not truly
want to be in a relationship with the baby’s father, but because she wants to
keep her family together she is planning on staying with him.
Through
the appointment Cadance opened up and told us about her tragic childhood full
of abuse, which led her to many bad relationships and decisions. She casually explained in her past that she has
had 8-10 abortions during her life.
By the
end of her first appointment at First Choice, Cadance decided to continue with her
pregnancy and agreed to enroll in our Next Steps program. Please pray with us as we walk through this decision
with Cadance and equip her for her future.
