First Choice Pregnancy Solutions desires to "disciple" the people of the Church in caring for people with unplanned pregnancies. As believers we are all called to impact the cause of LIFE by integrating in to the lives of people who need us the most.

To that end, we are hosting a 3-purpose training which is a mini-conference that is designed for church leaders, small groups, medical professionals or individuals, who want to learn how to engage and minister to people who are facing the life or death decision and struggles surrounding abortion.

The Training Will Provide 3 Tracks:

Track One: General ministry to people with unplanned pregnancies. You will learn how to handle a conversation with a friend/co-worker/classmate who says they are considering having an abortion, how to help during an unplanned pregnancy, and how to help after the baby comes. There will be a special session on ministering to people in generational poverty. MEN ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED IN THIS AREA OF THE MINISTRY!  This track is perfect for small groups, families, and individuals to engage with people in need through your day to day lives.  You will gain practical conversational skills and ministry ideas to engage people in a meaningful way to impact the cause of LIFE.  This is not the traditional "volunteerism" where you cover shifts; but rather, this is the nitty-gritty-minister as you live your Gospel focused life. This track will qualify you to partner with clients from First Choice to serve and meet their on-going needs.

Track Two: Train to be a Client Advocate and volunteer in one of our clinics working directly with women and men in crisis.  If you have ever wanted to volunteer with First Choice and work directly with our clients, this is the track for you!  To take part in this track you must have completed and turned in a volunteer application to Gale@FirstChoiceNC.org and have completed a phone interview with her prior to the 9/21 training. You can obtain the application from Gale.  Note- this is the last client advocate training for 2013.

Track Three: Medical Volunteer Interest meeting and first training session. Find out how medical professionals can engage the ministry, fill out paperwork, and receive your first training session on the materials we use to educate women on abortion procedures/risks and fetal development.  Put your vocational skills to use for the Kingdom!  If you would like to fill out your application ahead of time email Gale@FirstChoiceNC.org

Our NEW Mobile Medical Clinic Will Be on Site for TOURS!

Childcare and lunch from Chick-Fil-A will be provided.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare without prior registration. Children will also be given lunch from Chick-Fil-A.
