41 Years Since Roe v Wade --Where are We Now?

Last year, I shared my heart after reflecting on 40 years since Roe V Wade  (Click Here to Read Article) .  

Abortion stats:

• Worldwide: +50million which is 115,000 each day.
• USA: 1.2 million, 23,706 per week, 3,846 per day...6 days per week.
• Wake County: 6,654 in 2012, 128 per week, 21 per day.

Stop a second and let those numbers sink in.  It's sobering, it should devastate us.

This year, I reflected on why this pervasive nature of abortion in our culture.  Why does abortion have staggering success and take the lead, by huge strides, ahead of every other social injustice?  Worldwide perspective: while 115,000 abortions take place daily there are about 15,000 children trafficked and 22,000 children die in poverty related issues.

My conclusion: our very alive and active spiritual enemy, Satan, has a #1 priority to destroy ANYTHING AND ANYONE who brings glory to God, especially human beings who bear Gods image.  If he can destroy life in the womb he destroys another reflection of our beautiful, amazing God...before they even bring Him glory in childbirth.  What person sees the birth of a child and isn't in awe?

Satan is a liar, thief and murderer.  Never forget that truth! Never forget that he also prowls like a lion seeking someone to destroy...that someone is me, you, and the unborn. He wants us ineffective at bringing glory to God and from protecting the innocent and those who are marginalized in our society.  Don't let him win your affections for that which is not eternal over that which is.

Be a champion for LIFE!
