How Can You Help? You've Asked for It....Volunteer Training

 Coming in August....VOLUNTEER TRAINING!  
Partner with us as we prepare for some new, exciting upgrades to our programs and services at First Choice.  

We will be begin using a NEW self paced, online training model for volunteers coupled with shadowing alongside existing volunteers.

Serving Opportunities:

Mobile/Office Host  Greet clients, chat with them, and make them feel welcome! What could be easier? 4 hour shifts available in the stationary clinic and on the mobile clinic. No long term commitment necessary. No counseling experience needed.

Mobile Maintenance  Guys!!! Help! How do you feel knowing our nurses and advocate volunteers are spending time gassing up an RV, cleaning windshields and emptying the septic tank instead of seeing clients? We NEED your help. We need some man muscles who can you change the oil on the generator once every three months. We need 2 hours per week to help with sporadic upkeep and maintenance as well.
No long term commitment necessary.

Client Advocate  Do you have a heart for our clients? We will equip you to work alongside our nurses to help women who are in the process of finding out they are pregnant and deciding what to do next. Commitment required for 4 hours weekly for 1 year.

Nurse Volunteers  Registered nurses interested in becoming more involved please contact us.  Whether you want to only administer pregnancy tests or are ready for ultrasound training, we have a place for you! Shifts are 4 hours once a week. Length of commitment varies based on training level.

Front Desk/Administrative/Data Entry  If too much face time with the clients isn’t your thing, this might be! It takes a ton of behind the scenes work to make each client contact happen. Everything from data entry of the financial side to client information, follow up calls and texts, answering the phones, covering the phones on the weekend to much more is included. Shifts 4 hours weekly, commitment time varies.

Prayer Team  If anything ever needed to be bathed in prayer, it is the ministry at First Choice! Commit to pray for our staff, volunteers and clients. Shifts – constant and ongoing!
